I suspected it wasn’t going to be easy the day we flew to Valencia, but I had no idea it was going to be that difficult! It had never crossed our minds that we might have to leave our cats behind, or that we would get separated once in Europe! My stress level went through the roof, and it started to feel like we might not make it.

By creating small-scale bee-friendly areas, we aim to offer these incredible insects a greater amount of food sources throughout the year, but it can only be done if residents in municipalities follow the same practices, such as planting similar flora. But not having enough people to inhabit these areas could be a problem, so we are supporting the government’s initiatives to curb depopulation.

Two weeks left to travel, and I wondered if I had enough time to move abroad? We were cutting it very close, but we were in too deep, and there was no turning back. Our biggest concern? Getting through customs with the cats, and I was right! Ugh.

Living in the Caribbean is out of this world, with the food and its stunning views, every day feels like a gift. I have never seen prettier beaches, and they also have the best over-the-water restaurants I have ever been to! Las Sirenas and Whole in the Wall. It was the island that put my mind at peace due to my sister Wendy.
